DO THE CHECK IN

Save time and avoid queues at the airport, check in online. You can choose the Alitalia APP to check in with ease .If you don't have it, download it now: it's available for iOS on the App Store, and for Android on Google Play

 

During check-in,remember to select your favourite seat!  In Economy Class, this option is offered to you free of charge or for a small additional fee, depending on the fare class of your ticket.

1. Enter the details of your booking: select your flight and the passengers you are traveling with
2. Select your additional services:
   1.  Seat selection (free in Economy Class for Classic Plus and Flex fares or for an additional fee based on your fare class). If you choose your seat before departure, you can save up to 100% compared to the price applied at the airport (link to the landing page)
   2. Baggage to be checked (if you travel on the Light Fare you can save up to 50% compared to the price applied at the airport)
3. Select how to receive your boarding pass

 

If you have a bag to check in, beat the queue by placing it in the special drop-off desks, where available, or at the Business Class desks.
 

To ensure an adequate level of service, check-in for unaccompanied minors and people in need of special assistance should be completed at the airport.

Online check-in is available 48 hours prior to the departure of your flight. For flights to/from the USA, online check-in is only available 24 hours prior to the departure of your flight.

Please note that it is possible to complete the check-in, reprint your boarding card, change your seat or purchase extra baggage or additional services up to an hour and a half prior to departure for international flights and up to 45 minutes prior to departure for domestic flights.

The Seat Selection service is not applicable for departures from these airports.

The Light fare check-in is only available online, from the Alitalia WEBSITE and Alitalia APP or via the fast check-in machines at the airport*. 

 

*Passengers with animals to transport in the cabin and passengers who require special assistance should still proceed to the check-in desks.
