From March 15 this year, travelers that do not require a visa and who are flying to or in transit through Canada must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) from the Canadian authorities. The authorization is linked electronically to your passport and is valid for a period of five years or until the passport expires.
You can currently fly direct to Canada, with five weekly flights from Rome Fiumicino to Toronto. This Canadian destination can also be reached from 26 Italian airports and from 50 destinations across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
We would also like to remind you that the Airbus A330 aircraft, used on the Rome-Toronto route, will all be renovated by April and will have completely reconfigured interiors in Business Class, offering fully reclining seats, upholstered in leather by Poltrona Frau, and the option of inflight connectivity.
