Starting from Wednesday 29 March Alitalia will be moving its check-in operations from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 at Fiumicino International Airport. Therefore, Terminal 1 will now facilitate all Alitalia domestic, international and intercontinental flights bringing under one Terminal all Alitalia check-in services. A new dedicated ‘Premium Check-in Area’ for our business class passengers and frequent flyers has been introduced, entering by door 4 and directly accessing to a dedicated check-in and fast track facility, providing a faster and smoother way to the boarding area.
Terminal 1 also hosts a completely renewed digital “e-services area” which features hi-tech self-service check-in kiosks and self-service bag drop-off kiosks to provide fast and efficient services to all our passengers. Customer service counters are available to provide assistance to our passengers for any additional needs.
Security checks facilities for all passengers have also been widened to improve efficiency and make smoother the overall customer airport experience.
The ‘Alitalia lounge’, located into the check-in area of Terminal 1, will continue to be available for checking-in passengers flying to domestic and Schengen destinations.
Partners such as Delta Airlines and Etihad Airways have also recently moved to Terminal 1 for check-in operations.
