Passengers traveling to Japan

Since 1 February 2007, Japanese authorities obligatorily require, on the basis of the Partial Amendment of Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act, the personal data indicated on the passports of all passengers traveling to Japan.

The transfer of passenger data to the Japanese authorities is a condition for operating air transportation services to Japan.

If a passenger does not permit the transfer of this data, the refusal will consequently make it impossible for the passenger to travel to Japan.
